Established in 1898, John Gibbs Partnership Sutton can claim a history spanning over 100 years in providing quantity surveying and cost control services. However, it recognised that with the increasing number of client organisations and design and build contractors looking for a “one-stop shop” design and management team, it was decided they would expand their professional activities in order to embrace other constructional consultancy disciplines, thereby enabling them to meet present day demands.
By providing a fully integrated service, project lead times and design development periods can be reduced to an economic minimum and by extending these services into Project Management and CDM, accrued specialist knowledge of particular projects is carried through to project completion. Whereas some planned growth is envisaged, the principals maintain direct “hands on” control and ensure that clients get a first class service.
JGPS has significant experience within the construction industry having been involved in the following sectors:
Types of contracts completed embrace JCT, NEC, Design and Build, PPC 2000, TPC 2001, TPC 2005 and bespoke forms.
