Summit Projects completed the full strip-out and refurbishment of the former Lloyds Pharmacy, reconfiguring the premises into Units 4, 5 and 6. The works included:
The white-box fit-out included new distribution boards and wiring, LED and emergency lighting, power outlets and a BS 5839-compliant fire alarm system. A separate sub-metered temporary supply was installed for Unit 4, drainage was descaled and the completed electrical installation was NICEIC certified.
New WC and lobby finishes, including Polysafe vinyl, were installed alongside Forbo Flotex floor coverings to the retail areas.
Summit Projects managed the project throughout, working closely with the Contract Administrator and maintaining programme, budget control and full health and safety compliance under CDM 2015. Site-instructed variations included additional fire-rated boarding, an incoming electrical supply extended up to 35 metres to serve Unit 4, plus replacement shutters and fencing.
The completed units were professionally cleaned and handed over with all guarantees, warranties and product information, providing three bright, durable and lettable retail spaces.
